Today’s TheArabianMagazine.Com Photo of the Day is the racehorse, Izentespeshal.

Bred in the United States, Izentespeshal was sired by ZT Ali Baba (Moniet e Nafis x Imperial al Ahbab) and out of China Silk (Abaskus x Sumokka). Foaled in 1988, Izentespeshal raced over six seasons, winning 24 races from 51 starts in America, Dubai and the UK. He became an important sire of race-winning stock, and would become part of the elite Shadwell Racing Stable.

When Izentespeshal retired, Tina Collins, who had cared for him at Shadwell, became his lifelong owner and best friend, and with her, he learned how to have fun in the in-hand show-ring, enjoying events such as the Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Shows, as well as taking titles at the Norfolk & Suffolk Arabian Horse Group shows.

Izentespeshal remains an important part of our Arabian horse history; we hope you enjoy seeing him here today.
