Yet another of the treasured daughters of the immortal Monogramm has made her way to greener pastures with the passing of Georgia at 29 years of age.

Beloved the world over for her confident maternity, aristocratic elegance, superlative structure, and extraordinary athleticism, Georgia will forever be remembered as a mare who raised the global standard for aging with consummate grace and uncompromising excellence.
For those of us fortunate enough to witness Georgia at her most glorious in 2014, when at 20 graceful years young she brought the house down and the crowd to its feet at the Polish National Show with a host of perfect scores that flawlessly complimented her even more impeccably seasoned age, we will never forget how all the energy in the universe seemed to focus solely on her as she floated around the ring with power, purpose and poise, improbably timeless, utterly transfixing and immortally transcendent as only the Arabian mares of Poland are able to will such magnificence into existence when effortlessly performing on home soil.

Not only does Georgia leave all who had the privilege to know and love her forever transformed, her enduring legacy continues to grow with great acclaim through more than four generations, and counting, of internationally respected and accomplished descendants. During the final decade of her life, while owned first by Athbah Stud (Saudi Arabia) and later by Al Thumama Stud (Qatar), Georgia was lovingly cared for by the Schoukens Training Centre Team in Belgium, privileged to enjoy a blissful and carefree retirement complete with the royal treatment she so undeniably deserved.
Farewell glorious Georgia. Blessed with the privilege to know and to love you, and to have your brilliance shine as bright as the sun on our lives, we are eternally changed for the better. May you find well-earned rest forever in peaceful dreams, and like an old sweet song, remain forever on our minds…

Shortly after her sale in the 2015 Pride of Poland at 21 years of age, Georgia was properly honoured in The Arabian Magazine as a Polish Dam of Distinction, which we are delighted to share again, with a few updated additions, with our readers and supporters.
