What is more special than a regal mare on a Sunday afternoon, and today’s Photo of the Day is certainly that – and more!
The one and only Bess Fa’izah, foaled in 2004, is probably the most famous daughter of WH Justice (Magnum Psyche x Vona Sher-Renea). Bred by Bessewacht Arabians, Bess Fa’izah is owned by Ajman Stud and it is with them that she had so much success. In her yearling year, Bess Fa’izah took the All Nations’ Cup title in Aachen but was pipped to the post in Paris by a certain Emandoria (Gazal al Shaqab x Emanda). A swathe of titles followed, culminating in Bess Fa’izah finally taking the World Championship title in 2010.
This mare remains a true favourite among many, and it is easy to see why.
