We are very sad to share that His Highness the Father Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani has passed away.
A true visionary, Sheikh Hamad was the founder of Al Shaqab Stud and the Qatar Foundation. The Arabian horse community owes him so much for his incredible vision and for breeding some of the most historic Arabian horses in our lifetime.
Our condolences go to his family and the Qatari people on their loss.
