Psharif is my incredible homebred stallion, who has brought me so much joy and happiness. Foaled in 2014, Psharif is sired by the beautiful, black stallion Magic Magnifique (True Colours x Magic Mon Amour), a stunningly typey, heavily Egyptian colt with a phenomenal damline going back to the Russian powerhouse of Sax Arabians, Menashca (Menes x Nascha), through her Kubinec (Balaton x Kosmetika) daughter, Krushinka. Psharif is out of my incredible foundation mare Psycret (Psynergy x Yasmena by Menes), who I purchased from her breeders, Bychan Arabians, as a yearling in 2006. Psycret had already produced three outstanding foals by Rod Jones’ Master Design GA (Versace x BEA Society Belle), two of which were exported, so I wanted to try something a little different. The cross did not disappoint.

Lightly shown as a youngster, Psharif garnered multiple championship accolades and a placing in the money at the AHO Chantilly Show. As a senior stallion, he achieved his best results, including class winner and twice Reserve British National Champion, class winner at UKIAHS A show, plus Bronze Champion Stallion in Bruges international B Show, taking three 20s for movement in the process.

Psharif covered his first mares as a three-year-old, and right from his very first crop, he has exceeded all expectations, consistently improving a multitude of different bloodlines, putting on more expression, eye set and ear shape, more dished profiles and amazing movement and tail carriage. He also passes on his incredible temperament, with his progeny easy to train and willing partners, while also retaining the snort and blow of the halter show horse.

Psharif’s foals have already gained multiple national and international accolades in halter, but his babies are now coming to the fore under saddle as well, something I am very proud of. For me, the Arabian horse should always be a beautiful but also functional horse. Some of his progeny’s achievements to date include: Aasali (ex Psyndy BJ), Gold Junior Female Champion Bruges Breeders Show and Gold Senior Female and Supreme Champion of Show, Bicton C Show; Idaliaa (ex Inayaa Bint Shareen), Reserve Champion Arab Royal Bath and West Show, Open Ridden Champion and Reserve Supreme Champion of show, Bicton C Show; Mimi (ex Versace Amira), Bronze Junior Female Champion Bicton C Show, second and gold medal winner UKIAHS, first and Gold British National Champion Pre-novice Ridden; Iptihal (ex Moniet), Gold Britisn National Champion Owner Bred, Silver Junior Female Champion Bicton C Show; Princess Lolita (ex Cziara), Gold British National Champion Foal, Gold Arab Champion Royal Bath and West Show, Gold Junior Female Champion at the Classic Arab Show; Chula Maleika (ex Ottileah) Gold British National Champion Foal; Goldhaze Pseren (ex Montruth Moonlight Melody), multiple champion part-bred Arab and Reserve Overall Part-bred Champion Bicton C Show; Picketspride Paradise, multiple champion part-bred Arab, Overall Champion Part-bred Arab Bicton C Show and Reserve Champion Part-bred Devon County; Favaro (ex Felliza), Silver Champion Devon County, Reserve Champion Arab Royal Bath and West, and Bronze Champion Junior Gelding Bicton C Show.

With some beautiful foals on the ground this year, and more expected in 2026, the future is very bright for this stallion whose eldest progeny are only seven years old.

Psharif will stand at stud in North Devon for 2026. Please contact me for early bird and multiple mare discounts. He truly is my horse of a lifetime, and I am beyond thrilled with the most precious gift that Psycret gave me.
