São Paulo set to host two days of top-level competition and cultural celebration in a new milestone for Arabian horses in the Americas.

The Global Champions Arabians Tour (GCAT) makes its much-anticipated debut in Brazil with the third stage of the 2025 Americas Series, taking place 13–14 July at Helvetia Riding Center in Indaiatuba, São Paulo. Following the resounding success of the Miami Beach edition, this landmark event brings the Tour to South America for the very first time.

Set against the backdrop of one of Brazil’s most distinguished equestrian venues, the event offers a unique opportunity to witness world-class Arabian horses compete for top honours. As part of a season with a total prize pool exceeding €24,000,000 across Europe, the Middle East and the Americas, the São Paulo stage offers a prize purse of US $270,000, while qualifying winners to the GCAT Americas overall ranking, which awards $1,275,000 to the Top 20 male and female horses, and Top 20 handlers, with an additional $50,000 bonus for the highest-scoring horse of the Americas series. This makes the Tour not only the most prestigious but also the most rewarding in the sport’s history.

“We are proud to bring the Global Champions Arabians Tour to Brazil for the first time,” said Faleh Al-Nasr, Chairman of the Global Champions Arabians Tour. “This edition reflects our ongoing commitment to celebrating the beauty and heritage of Arabian horses in new regions around the world. Brazil’s deep appreciation for culture and sport makes it the perfect setting for this next chapter.

“We invite all communities, from lifelong breeders to first-time spectators, to experience the elegance, passion, and spirit that define this global Tour.”

The event kicks off on Sunday 13 July at 11am with the introduction of officials, followed by classes for yearling and junior fillies and colts. The official opening ceremony will be held at 1.20pm, and the day will conclude with a surprise performance by a famous Brazilian singer.

On Monday 14 July, the spotlight turns to the mare and stallion classes, followed by the much-anticipated championship. The event will conclude with extraordinary closing entertainment honouring Brazil’s rich culture and diversity, as well as a final performance by an iconic Brazilian band.

Entry to the event is free, with spacious grandstand seating available to the public. Guests can explore a lively village offering retail experiences, cultural displays, family entertainment, and gourmet Brazilian and international cuisine, making it a memorable outing for all.

This stage is sponsored by Doha Bank, Richard Mille, Al Kass, and BYD, whose continued partnership elevates the Tour’s global reach and reputation for excellence.

We invite all horse lovers, families, and visitors to join us for this vibrant celebration of Arabian horse heritage at Helvetia Riding Center in Indaiatuba.

After the São Paulo stage, the journey continues to Brandon, Canada, for the fourth stage of the Americas Series on 8–9 August, as GCAT moves closer to its grand finale, the World Arabian Horse Championship Supreme in Doha.
