Today’s Photo of the Day is the turn of a young Palanga. Foaled in 2002, this wonderful Polish mare was bred by Michałów State Stud. She was sired by Ekstern (Monogramm x Ernestyna) and out of Panika (Eukaliptus x Plisa), giving this much-loved show horse truly beautiful bloodlines.
This showy grey won a host of titles, including that of Polish National Champion Mare as a senior, but here we have her pictured as a young mare – no doubt still showing that trademark Polish trot! Palanga has produced a number of great foals for Michałów State Stud, continuing these lines for the next generation.
